Saltzman Sees...The Help (2011)
The Help won my Best Actress (Viola Davis), Best Supporting Actress (Octavia Spencer) and Best Screenplay (Tate Taylor and Kathryn Stockett) and was nominated for Best Supporting Actress (Jessica Chastain) in 2011.
This is one of the strongest female casts ever assembled. From leads Viola Davis and Emma Stone, to up and coming talents Octavia Spencer, Jessica Chastain, Bryce Dallas Howard and Aunjanue Ellis. What makes the cast so strong is the veteran talents of Sissy Spacek, Allison Janney, and Cicely Tyson.

Saltzman Sees...Shrek 2 (2004)
Shrek 2 is a fantastic movie in and of itself, and holds up to the challenge of being as good as the original. While the original Shrek is better, adding a character like Puss in Boots, played by Antonio Banderas, certainly raises the bar. Now it's own motion picture, Donkey and Puss in Boots together is priceless in this second installment of the Shrek Franchise.
What we learn through the movie is the most important lesson is to be willing to make sacrifices for the people we love.
It is the Best Family Picture of 2004.

Saltzman Sees...Shrek (2001)
Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz and Eddie Murphy began a journey in 2001 that would allow Dreamworks to compete with Disney Pixar to this day. Myers, who has been brilliant in the past with outlandish characters from Saturday Night Live, including two Wayne's World movies and an Austin Powers trilogy, raises the bar as Shrek. Myers creates depth and warmth in a over-sized ugly ogre that is captivating.
Shrek teaches us that falling in love is about what is in one's heart and mind and not about superficial things like appearance. It is a beautiful love story and one the whole family will enjoy. It is the Best Family Picture of 2001.

Saltzman Sees...The Soloist (2009)
The
Soloist is Robert Downey Jr. and Jamie Foxx at their best. Foxx plays a
former music prodigy, Nathaniel Ayers, who becomes homeless because of a
mental collapse. Downey Jr. is Steve Lopez, a newspaper writer who
stumbles on him one day and his life is forever changed. Ayers' passion
for music is only equaled by his troubles with being what society wants
him to be. This true story is a compelling look at how trying to help
someone doesn't always mean giving them the help you think they need.
But rather, helping someone gives you what you need out of life:
The Soloist was completely forgotten by voters who was not even nominated for any major awards.
It is by far, the Most Underrated Movie of 2009.
